Job Responsibilities:
Collection management is the process of acquiring, categorizing, and cataloging library resources such as printed books, periodicals, electronic books, audiovisual materials, and digital resources. They could also remove pieces from the collection that are offensive to certain cultures.

Reference services include helping students use databases, catalogs, and library resources to discover information and do research.
Reader Services: By providing recommendations and ideas based on readers' tastes, we assist readers in finding suitable reading material.
Circulation Services: Controlling the lending and borrowing of library materials, issuing library cards, and monitoring the return and renewal processes.
Information technology includes user technical support, database maintenance and administration, online catalogue systems, and digital resource management.
Libraries plan and carry out educational and cultural events including book clubs, workshops, author presentations, and exhibitions in order to promote literacy and include the community.
Education of students through the creation and delivery of seminars on information literacy, research techniques, and efficient use of library resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
A degree in Library Science is required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of cataloging systems and classification methods.
Customer service-oriented attitude.
Patience and the ability to work well with students
Salary: Rs 15,000 - Rs 20,000 a month
